Here’s what New York requires for chiropractic license renewal — and how DC Hours helps you meet it. Always confirm the latest rules with your state board.

Total Hours

36 hours every 3 years

Mandatory Subject Areas

At least 12 hours must be in the areas of patient communications, record keeping, and matters of law and/or ethics which contribute to professional practice in chiropractic and the health and safety, and/or welfare of the public.

Online CE Policy

12 of the required 36 hours are allowed to be obtained online. All internet based courses offered in New York are sponsored by Life University.

Additional Notes

The 3-year cycle is based upon the original licensure date.
